so...

I know that there aren't many people who actually read my blog, but then again, this blog was meant to be a way for me to remember what's happened in my life years from now.

Christmas came and went as did New Year's Eve. Its wasn't awfully exciting, but it was nice to have two weeks off of work and spend it with my husband and son. I'm extremely happy and thankful that Paul took off those two weeks as well. How I miss him during the week (especially now that he has officially begun busy season).

We spent Christmas eve and day with Paul's family. The morning of Christmas, E woke up early as usual and we started opening presents. E could have cared less and wanted to play with our electric train instead. Paul was so generous and bought me a new digital camera for Christmas and how I love it so! I'm pretty sure that I took over 350 photos within 3 days!

Although we have not been very good church going Catholics since Evan was born, we did go to Christmas morning mass. What a change mass is once you have kids. Stand up, sit down, go outside, go inside, pick up raisins off the florr. I only wish that I was able to focus more on mass!

The day after Christmas, my parents came up to have lunch and dinner. E finally took to opening gifts, but would get sad once all the wrapping paper was off.

My sister and brother-in-law were in Michigan at this time, and as a result, we celebrated with them on the 31st. Luckily for us, my parents offered to keep E for the night so that Paul and I could go out for the new year. We ate dinner at a loval.pizzeria and then went home. Its a true sign that you old and/or parents when you crash at 10:00 after the eastern New Year's celebration.

It was still a great holiday and how sad we were to go back to work. At least there are only 8.5 weeks until Spring Break!!
